The 2000 GSR was the Mexican version of the Sentra SE-R. That car is a '93. It has a '91-'92 front bumper, gauge cluster, tail lights, but has a '93 interior. Did anyone notice where the antenna was? Its on the roof like Civics have.

The grease pen scribbled on the window is English and there are Imperial units taped to the gauge - it looks like it just got bought in America by an American. Plus, the pics are on a Honda site. Zuh?

How did it get out of Mexico to a used car lot in the 'States? If it's that easy, I'm going south of the border and bringing back a few Tsurus and Tsubames for myself.

I don't know the whole story, a friend of mine knows him. He lives in FL (not sure where), and bought the car at a Nissan dealer down there. Somehow that car is legal here :confused: The car now has a 100shot running 8.8 or 8.4 in the 1/8 mile. He is going to run it that way until the motor dies, then he's going to swap a VE motor in.

Nothing short of a dull mind or a cash exchange at customs would let a foreign-spec car just come right in. If it were so easy to get cars like that here, we'd all be driving Alfa 156 GTAs and Skyline GT-Rs. :cool:
