Yesterday I parked the car, pulled up on the hand brake and .... nothing! So I removed the console, jacked up the car, removed the rear wheels and inspected everything. Unfortunately I can't find anything wrong!

Does anyone know if this a simple replacement job, or do I have to take this to a dealer??? :(

This could be something simple, it happened to me, If you take the center councel out around the E-brake you will find a little "pin" under the e-brake. when you pull the brake up the pin is then pushed up by a spring since there is no weight on it. your's could be stuck down and won't spring up to set the sensor light on. if that's not the problem I have no clue.
