I want to know if a t28 will fit on a BB man. or do I need a gti-r man. also with a t28 do I need bigger injectors than 370cc and a 300zxtt fuelpump? please help I'm conjering before sending out stuff to JW

T28 will NOT fit on the BB manifold.

as for fuel, the benefits of the T28 could not be realized on 370cc injectors and the stock MAF.

if you plan on boosting more than 10-12 lbs, you will need: 50 lb/hr injectors + JWT fuel rail (or similiar substitute), Cobra MAF (or similiar substitute) GTiR manifold and T28. you CAN boost more than 12 on the T25 (14 IIRC) but this is pushing the outer part of the compressor towards supersonic speeds, a bad thing.

if you plan on boosting no more than 10-12 psi, stay with the T25, it has less lag.

Are you sure about this? I thought i've read plenty of times in the archives that the T28 CAN fit in the BB manifold because they are the same flange. If i'm wrong somebody please correct me.

The GTiR T28 has a T25 exhaust housing flange which is the same as a Bluebird T25, but the T28's compressor housing *DOES NOT* allow teh T28 to fit onto the Bluebird manifold. You can bolt the T28 onto the Bluebird Manifold, but you won't be able to fit it onto the motor! The T28's compressor housing will hit the block!

I stand corrected :)

So how impossible would it be to reweld the flange so it faces a couple degrees extra away from the block? Since the GTi-R mani can be welded, can this also be done w/ the BB??????

That's a .60 Trim T3 housing and a .63 are exhaust housing... Fits nicely!

it could, but i think it'd be a waste of time/$$. just get the gti-r manifold to begin with if you really want to run a t28.

You're right, it would be a waste of time :) I'm not doing it, just wondering if it's possible.
