I was using Royal Purple 5w30 but I was just wondering what others would recommend. Thanks.

Not to steal anyone's thunder and I'm sure I'll ask this in a few months, but what fluids would you guys recommend? Brake fluid, manual tranny grease, oil, any water wetter for coolant, etc. I figured since someone was asking about oil I'd ask about others as well.

As far as brake fluid - regular should be fine for normal use but for excessive or high-use situations I would go with Motul 600

as far as coolant - add some water wetter to your car, it works great and helps shave several degrees off of the scale and this stuff works. my father has used it in his race car and I have seen this stuff in action - all I can say is good stuff for a nominal price

as far as oil - Mobil full synthetic every 3K religiously is a great thing to do I heard, but I use Amsoil so I can go every 7500 miles between oil changes, and yes the oil is reated for this

as far as tranny fluid - I would use Redline MTL or MT-90

With a regular Nissan tranny don't use MTL since it's GL-5 and we need GL-4. I have MTL in my tranny but I need to get rid of it, otherwise the synchros will get eaten up. (That will show me for not reading the label)

I personally like using Royal Purple. It hasn't done me wrong yet. I've been running Mobil1 lately *** since its hard to get purple in my area. I'd say you should stick with the 5w30 purple. I go with 5w30 or 10w30 depending on what I'm gonna do with it. I like to run 10 at road racing events.. seems to not burn as fast.

I did try Redline a few times.. and before the end of an oil change cycle I was almost 2 quarts low!

Try with Motul crono 10w40 ,its a full sinthetic oil ,the start and clater olmost disappear.
