i am looking for a tach for my 96 ser and i wanted to know where some good internet sites would be to look and any suggestions on size and make and model and how hard to self install?

Agreed, get an aftermarket tach only if you dont have one, or the stock one is broken :)

Yeah I agree. I just took my tach out. It's a complete waste of money. Autometer makes nice products, BUT the tach will be off. I could watch my stock tach, and the autometer and they were several hundred RPM's off at any RPM. Yeah a shift light is nice but you can just buy one of those and mount it somewhere.

The autometer one wont be off...its the stock tach that will be...the autometer one works a WHOLE lot better than the stock tach

not quite. My car doesn't idle at 1000 rpms. But yet on the autometer it did
