Does anyone know how hard it is to remove the side molding off the classic, I am particulary unfond of it and would like it gone? I will probably wind up getting the car painted after that as well so if their are holes that need to be filled I can fill them in before it is done.

There isn't any holes you can just pull it off and use some Goof Off to remove the excess glue type residue.......

Believe it or not, that molding is a good thing, ever notice when people open their doors too wide, it hits it? I think its there to help avoid door dings, so its a good thing, but if you're going to take it off, and paint the car afterwards, just peel it off.

If you cant find goof off, use oops...I took mine off last week. No holes, nothing. And yeah, it prevents some dings, but not all. ;)

Get rid of the molding, it gives the car a cleaner look. Just be carefull where you park? I've had mine off for about 2years and have yet to get a door ding (knocks on wood). It peels off, then just get some thinner to remove the excess tape.
