I was removing a temporary fuel pressure gauge today, wich was attached to the fuel line with a t-piece. The t-piece was kind of hard to get of the fuel line, so I had to use a bit of force to get it of, and just as it let go it slipped my fingers and made a nice jump into cylinder 4 (the spark plugs not in) :eek2: Is there any way of getting this piece out without removing the cylinder head?

That sucks. Can ya even see in there? If not get a small flash light and take a look. If it went in it'll come out but if might be a pain in the arse. Put the motor at TDC or coming up to it. Use a piece of small wire to grab it. Hope this helps.

If it is steel use a magnet. Maybe one of those grabber tools? The kind taht you push down on the button, and the jaws open up.

Oh man, that sux. How about using a shop vac or something? Perhaps turning the crank so the intake valve for #4 opens and opening the throttle body so you can get some flow going? Dono if I'm explaining it correctly.

Well... I tried to get that sucker using a grabber tool, but it was hopeless... Had to pull the head off :( Think i will remember to plug the sparkplug holes the next time...;)

Dang... well, at least you got it out, man, and got to check out some of the internals while you were at it.
