Hey all,
I have a used SR20DE from a Euro-spec Primera 2.0 GT. It had 150 hp stock with higher compression (and only 28,000 miles). Now I have also added an intake to it, custom exhaust, header, and soon, cams.
My question...
with all those mods, I am guessing I will be putting out about 180-185 hp at the crank. Will the stock clutch that is in the car be able to handle it, or am I riding the edge? Will just buying, say, a JWT pressure plate be enough or will I have to upgrade to a Stage 1 or Stage 2 clutch? Which clutches do you recommend? I have heard good things about ACT, Clutchmasters, and JWT's clutches.
Second... with the S3 cams installed, will I need to set the timing back to the stock 15 degrees from the 17 degrees I have it set at?
