My mods are in my sig. One thing I notice was like a surge and hestestiation when I first start my car.. it was allrite when it was down low but if I rev it up a little bit I get that surge and hestestation around 2700rpm to 2800rpm range, then it became normal again around 3k. Anyone know if it's normal or something I should look into? The car runs fine once it warms up, but I just wanna make sure this cold start thinge that I have is normal or acceptable.

Sounds like the EGR problem.
Mine did the same thing before I followed the instructions on SE-R.net on how to fix the bucking and hesitation problem.

I don't think that's it because it's only when engine is cold and only around 2600-2700rpm.. after that it's allrite.. and I have no idle problem

Easy way to find out: Unplug your EGR vacuum lines, and plug them up with a small bolt or screw (self-tapping ones are GREAT for this, btw). Take it for a spin, see what happens.

That took care of my stumbling/hesitation problem. And yes, it was right around 2,500rpm or so, mostly at part-throttle.

Good luck.

It sounds to me that your engine is simply cold.....ill be willing to be that when it warms up it stops....is that the case??

yes that's the case, so it's just a cold engine and not a problem?

oh ya.. that also only happens when I'm in Netural, when I'm in gear I don't feel that problem anymore.. (aka when I'm actually moving)

I was having a similar problem a few days after I bought my nx2000. I kept messing with the EGR valve based on other posts but with no results.

Then I checked the electrical system and:

Wires connecting to distributor were loose
causing:
the rotor and conductors inside of distributor to get corroded.
I filed them down (until I could buy new) and re-seated the wires and it worked great.

Then I checked the plugs and found out they were the wrong type in there too!

So, check out the engine electrical system, including the fuses for the engine control system.

I'll check the wires and rotors this weekend...
