I've got the ol' missing oil syndrome. I can only get 3 quarts in when I change. I'm looking for the STP flush as suggested on se-r.net, but I can't find it anywhere. I've tried Advance, Autozone, Pep Boys and Wal-Mart. All I can find is the GUNK stuff that costs 2 bucks and honestly, I don't want to put something that cheap in my engine. I imagine it would eat the seals away.
So, where to get the STP stuff???

Hmmm....I got that stuff at Walmart once. You might want to try Kmart or something.

i highly do not recommend this. members have dislodged particles that got stuck in oil passages causing spun bearings. drop ur oil pan and clean the gunk out to fix the missing oil syndrome

I believe STP engine flush is no longer being made.

I'd just use the Gunk stuff. It's not that bad.
I did one bottle when I first got the car 1k miles ago, and I'm gonna do another bottle this weekend as well as drop the pan and clean that also.
If it blocks an oil passage and a bearing gets spun, oh well. Rebuild or replacing an engine will be a new learning experiance.

Hmmm. Well, I definitely cannot afford to have that happen right now. I guess there's no major harm right now so I'll just let it go for now.
