JC Whitney Sucks. Its official. I've got 3 headers on order, one for my bro's 240, one for John (nismonx2000) and one for me. I ordered at the end of January, and they still haven't shipped them.

I wrote them an email, and they said an additional 7-10 days because it is on backorder. The part that bugs me the most is that when I ordered it back in JANUARY, the woman on the other end told me they would be shipped out February 25th. Why is it gonna take so long, I asked...backorder? She said its how they do it...orders shipped from the factory always take 30 days.

Ok, 30 days later, not yet billed for the merchandise, they tell me this crap?!?!?!?:mad: UGH!!!

....just venting......:rolleyes:

I get a lot of bike parts from them. They are only 100 miles away from where I live, so I go there a few times a year to look around. On Saturday's they have a warehouse sale where they sell all of the crap that gets returned. So once you get your header please return it so I can get it on sale:cool: I don't mail order from them though so I can't comment on their shipping practices.

ahhh! dont scare me! i just ordered some stuff from them for my upcoming turbo install, and i absolutely NEED it before march 15th, as i took a weekend off work to get the job done....arrggh, of course, it has only been 5 days since i ordered it, but they still havent billed me. i hope it goes out soon!

I'd love to order from Nopi, but i read on the forum from another member who did order from Nopi that they are all out of stock. Apparently, that member got the last header from Nopi, and the one he got was missing a piece. When he tried to get that piece, they told him they didn't have any pieces or headers left to give.

I've been ordering from them for a few years now as well, I don't know why they told you 10 days for a Pacesetter header and 30 days (plus an extra 10 now) for mine.

But, i'm keeping the faith. I hope it comes soon. I really really really am looking forward to its arrival.

Yeah they have great prices and but nothing in. I ordered a K&N panel filter, MetalMaster brake pads and SS brake lines. Next day I get an email saying they don't have the pads or lines but the filter is shipped. If I knew that I would have just cancelled the order b/c the filter was only an 'ah what the hell' mod.

So I ordered the lines and pads from Summit on tuesday, had them sitting in my room by thursday night.

I am the other guy waiting for his header in that order by my boy nismoser....I must say I am dissapointed in the fact that they did not tell us the headers were on backorder when they were ordered back in january. Here we are, almost march, being ever so patient, and the only reason we got a response from them was because we wrote them an email wanting to know what was up with our headers. Im grateful they sent us a response....and it seems to me that pacesetter should start turning there headers out at a faster rate. *** i remember back in late november early december that there were questions as to whether or not the headers were on backorder or not, but i never got a response from pacesetter. Oh well, i just hope they get here soon *** im getting antsy to put that sucker on. And my boy nismoser was simply venting his feelings and frustration about the way they dealt with this order that we placed. As human beings we need to get things off our chest and have it serve as a warning to other on the board that might have fallen into the same situation that we did, before they have to.

you think thats bad? i ordered an autometer nitrous guage on the 14th of november 2001 (payed that day) and they shipped it YESTERDAY. :eek: How messed up is that?

dude jon..you should get them for free man! you should ask JCW about it, or some sort of discount threaten to send them back haha i dunno but that is ridiculous

that's what i'm sayin jon! This is a horrible way to run a business. If you aren't going to be able to meet your claimed dates/deadlines, then what good are you? You can't tell a customer that something is going to be sent on X date, then when X day comes around, tell them its coming on Y.

jcwhitney kicks ass. I got my KYB AGXs from them for 299 shipped! and my pacesetter header for <150 shipped. Cant beat that.. the only thing i hate about JC Whitney, is that they always have telemarketer fags calling me atleast once or twice a week. I told them to remove me from the list but they still call :rolleyes:

Hey i say just call them up and see if you can get some kind of compensation for this mishap. If not, just cancel the order. I just don't think your headers are coming. Order from somewhere else!

NismoSER, did you ever get your header?

keithert, i'm still waiting. Supposedly they are going to be sent out Monday, but I see no reason why then can't tell me again that its still on backorder. I will be calling Pacesetter today to see if they are in fact going to be shipping soon.

If not, I am going to cancel my order. This is insane! Its not like they are making a custom order piece for just me....and even if they were, 2 months is stretching it!! Believe me, I'll keep everyone updated. :mad:

I called Pacesetter 2 days ago. They said that they were 3-4 weeks out on our headers.

NismoSer, just cancel your order already and quit your complainin. Your headers aren't gonna come. Just order from somewhere else.
