A more reliable way to rate buyers and sellers is now ready for use.

From now on, when leaving feedback about a transaction be sure to use the new system! The buyer/seller feedback area in the classifieds is now closed to new threads.

How do I check my rating? (click here (http://www.sr20forum.com/itrader.php))
You can check out your own rating by clicking on "Your Rating" located in the Quick Links at the top of the page, or you can simply click the rating next to your name to see your ratings page:

How do I leave someone feedback?
Refer to the green arrow above. Click a user's rating below their name in a thread to be brought to their ratings page. You will see a link to leave feedback. Be sure to find the thread which you bought/sold something, you will need that thread URL to leave feedback!

How do I check someone else's rating?
Look at the big green arrow above. Simply click on the rating under someone's name to see their rating.

Some limits/rules to be aware of:

- Each person counts only once, so if you leave 10 ratings for the same person it will only be counted once in your points/percentage.
- The person you leave feedback for will receive a PM notifying them.
- When leaving additional comments, there is a 10 character HARD CODED limit that I cannot change.

THERE PROBABLY WILL BE BUGS. Please post problems here.

So does it require a NEW thread, or can we just link it to the old thread with the old URL?

Yes, you can and should link to old threads. It just has to have been created by you or the other person. Also, when you leave feedback, the other person is sent a PM.

So do i have to submit the URL's that i have for my good feedback to you? I don't really get how that works.

Also, what about my ebay ratings? Can those be transferred onto here too?

Why can't I add previous feedbacks to my own rating? The link isn't there.

Also, what about my ebay ratings? Can those be transferred onto here too?No.

Why can't I add previous feedbacks to my own rating? The link isn't there. You can't rate yourself. That would make no sense. You need to get people to do it for you.

Here's one little 'bug' that I don't like... You can't give feedback from a thread that you started... i.e. items bought from the result of a wanted thread, or from a vendor thread. Is there a way that you can allow it to be a thread you started if it is in the Wanted or Vendor section?

i.e. I posted in Mossy's section about some parts, and subsequently purchased them.

i.e. I posted in Mossy's section about some parts, and subsequently purchased them. This should now work. The thread you link to must be within the classifieds area or the vendors area. Give it another try.

- If you have under 5 ratings, you can only leave 3 in a 24-hour period.
- You are only able to post 1 rating per day, per person.
- Each person counts only once, so if you leave 10 ratings for the same person it will only be counted once in your points/percentage.

Yup, that works! Is the above quote contradictory, or am I retarted? How can you leave 3 in a 24 hour period if you are only able to post 1 per day, per person?

So all the previous ratings are worthless without the seller asking the original poster to resubmit them? That's a bitch.

Sucks for Miko with his tons of positive feedback, but people can always look stuff up.

How about for vendors like gofastdepot. for example, if we didn't post a thread about a product, yet someone buys something from us and wants to leave positive feedback, they can't do it since there was no thread about the product to begin with?

If a person has less than 5 ratings, they can only leave 3 ratings for others, per day. You can leave feedback for 3 different people in 24 hours, not the same person 3 times.

HOWEVER- this is a bad idea right now since people are going to want to build up their ratings. I have changed 3 to 20. So now you can leave up to 20 pieces of feedback per day, but only 1 per person per day. Does this make sense? I'm still getting a feel for this, too.

Yes, that is how it will have to be for now. I can't even manually add feedback for myself.

How about for vendors like gofastdepot. for example, if we didn't post a thread about a product, yet someone buys something from us and wants to leave positive feedback, they can't do it since there was no thread about the product to begin with?

Right now, they can't do that. I'm leaving URL checking on to start, but in a few days I will probably turn it off.

It's also the only way right now. I'm sure you'll live. It's not like the buyer/seller feedback area is going anywhere, you just can't leave new messages there.

It'll suck a little, but it's not too bad. I just left feedback with everyone I've ever dealt with (no it's not that many people).

Some stuff was posted for sale in the Contributor's lounge that I bought, I want to leave feedback for it, but no go.

Matt, I just picked up some slicks from a forum member, he didnt make a thread for them, but he offered them in a thread I started in the FL section, I want to leave some positive feedback for the guy, but I'm guessing the regional sections arent part of this. Can you add those in there too?
