Ok so I am upgrading my brakes soon.. and I want to get some aftermarket brakes.. What I was wondering is what are the best type of rotors: slotted, cross-drilled, or
cross-drilled/slotted..

Any info would help.. experiences, places to buy ...anything.. thanks guys

Stock rotors work just fine. Just be sure that you "bed" them in right. Bedding is just a process that you do to break in the new rotors and pads.

Cross-drilled rotors will not do anything to help braking, nor will larger diameter rotors.

Two suggestions:

1.) Read this post: http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8807&highlight=brakes

2.) Read Carroll Smith's book Drive to Win, particularly the section on braking.

Edit: Beat you to it, MaddMatt. :)

DAMN!!!!

Well, I'll beat you to this: If you want to stop faster, get better tires.
