: Be on the lookout for stolen parts!!!
McCoy 12-19-2005, 12:05 PM Looks like someone in the Pullman, WA area decided this morning to pop the hood of the sentra and clean house... :squint:. I was holding off on putting the car in storage until I did some updates on the car, guess I should have put the car in storage afterall:(.
Stolen parts list:
Hotshot Piping kit
Forge Intercooler that I purchased from Greg Perry
300zx (N62) MAF
JWT pop filter for 300zx maf
Here's what she looked like before... most those parts you see in the picture are now gone:(. God... I hate theifs!!!

Please keep your eye's out on the west side of WA for any of these parts. A key thing to look for on the Hotshot kit is that it's missing the compressor outlet pipe... it's still attached to the turbo on my car.
To angry to type more. I will update again once I've cooled down some:(
paNX2K&SE-R 12-19-2005, 12:17 PM Oh no!!!! That's terrible Monty :(
McCoy 12-19-2005, 12:35 PM Oh no!!!! That's terrible Monty :(
You don't know how much this hurts... it's not like I lost someone, but I worked hard for those parts, most all these parts came from the SR20forum and/or companies that support our cars. Now I have to start saving again to replace the parts that were taken...
I think I've cooled down enough to call the police and file a report.
ser-luvinit 12-19-2005, 12:48 PM I'll keep my eyes and ears open up here in North Idaho and spread the news to some of my friends in Moscow. I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. I wish you the best of luck in nailing those bast*rds.
coach 12-19-2005, 02:22 PM Damn it, who the hell pops the hood and takes a fitted IC kit and IC. That is just ridiculous. I hope you find the bastard, but history shows you prolly won't. I can't believe it. Good luck recovering and getting the parts replaced man.

Cujo_se-r 12-19-2005, 02:26 PM Wow someone really went though a lot of troble. Bastards. Did they break the latch or what?
liupj 12-19-2005, 02:56 PM I've had my car broken into just for my CELL PHONE (i was inside getting a coffee!!).
I feel ya monty. I'll take you to dinner or something dude, and keep an eye out. Sorry to hear, but thats freakin lame as hell.
McCoy 12-19-2005, 03:37 PM Wow someone really went though a lot of troble. Bastards. Did they break the latch or what?
Yeah, they used a few different tools to get that Forge IC off too... it was on there good. The passanger door was wide open when I got there with no signs of being forced open. I can only think a slim-jim was used, the car was locked on Sunday when I pulled it out of the garage.
Funny thing is that they left a Greddy EGT gauge and all my tools in the trunk... I'm afraid of a repeat breakin tonight or another night. The car aint going anywhere for a while do to the lack of a few key components :(
BlkB14 12-19-2005, 04:12 PM Damn man Ill def keep an eye out for you over here. could be towards Idaho also, but you might never know...
i think its time to stop advertising/posting our mods online.
so many 240sx's are getting stolen around here, and looks like se-r's are next in line :(
llaprad1 12-19-2005, 04:34 PM Look out for a while, because repeat break-ins are know to happen.
McCoy 12-19-2005, 04:41 PM Brian, the thing is, the car was parked at my friends house across town on a street that has no through traffic. I really hope it was no one that I knew :(
I will probably try and move the car to another friends house tonight, get the car back into a garage where scum can't get to it.
McCoy 12-19-2005, 07:03 PM Police report filed, nothing the officer could really do. No evidence of finger prints and no real clues laying around... you know, like the thiefs wallet.
Working on getting the car moved to a more secure location quickly, then I can start putting all the pieces back together.
SR20RACER 12-19-2005, 08:09 PM Sorry Monty, I can only imagine how pissed you are at this moment. You never know maybe they will find a ring of crooks and you can get your stuff back. It's like somebody knew you had that stuff on the car. :(
McCoy 12-19-2005, 08:30 PM It's like somebody knew you had that stuff on the car. :(
I'm afraid the intercooler is a dead giveaway of what's under the hood :(.
I'll be eating dinner soon, then starting to make a walk of my friends area... asking questions to see if possible anyone saw the crime. It's a long shot, but worth the effort on my side...
A view of the damage... this was a hard picture to take.

They were nice enough to leave a few worm clamps and my black vaccum hoses

BORNGEARHEAD 12-19-2005, 08:32 PM Sorry to here. Looks like the job they did, they either knew you or knew what you had. It looks to be planned out somewhat with having the right tools to do the job. Good luck finding these bitches.
STRATTON 12-19-2005, 08:33 PM sorry bro. that really blows. i think it might have been some one u know. because really who looks a se-r up and down for something to steal... either way i feel for ya. get an alarm pull.
stratton.
McCoy 12-19-2005, 08:43 PM Thanks for you sympothy guys, I'm still feeling like someone drop kicked me in the balls, but I should recover as soon as I find the thiefs or forget how much of a loss I just took this morning :)
I'm going to invest into some locking hood pins (or something similiar) for the car. From now on, it doesn't get parked on the side of the street...
junknstuff 12-19-2005, 08:51 PM wow, they had a lot of time to take apart a piping kit and the intercooler. how could no one see what happened?!
in anycase, best of luck getting your sh*t back. maybe a chance to upgrade? just trying to lighten the mood...
SERprise In WV 12-19-2005, 09:06 PM Oh
My
God.
Okay, Monty, time to scramble. In my garage, I've got a Isuzu intercooler (small, but thick), enough leftover steel piping from my T28 setup to probably get you close to connected with the Avenir setup....and let me think what else.
Any of it, all of it, I can ship to you this week. Just say the word.
The best remedy for sh!t like this is to get the car back up and running as quickly as possible, just so you can tool around town and show the sh!theads that did this that you can't be brought down.
I also know of a place that sells air filters and Z32 MAF adapters for about 1/2 the price of a JWT pop....but don't have the neat venturi-funnel-thingy on them. I'll PM you that info.
Tell me (us) what we can do to help.
McCoy 12-19-2005, 09:20 PM Greg,
Thanks for the offer, this type of attitude is what I really enjoy about the SR20forum. I have almost everything shipping and/or purchased and ready to ship that I will need to get the car running.
Luckily I was getting ready to upgrade to a GTi-R T28 setup, so I already had a new HS piping kit coming and I still have my Spearco core from the Avenir HS kit.
Jamie at Protech Imports is coming through on misc couplers and clamps that I am needing. GregV has gotten me a good deal on another JWT pop charger setup for the Z32 maf. I shouldn't be down for more than a week or two tops thanks to friends and the SR20forum connections:biggthump .
