I've seen a couple classics at Moroso with it done as well. I'm sure it works it just looks kinda tiny. I have a 92 bumper and I think you will barely see it so the sleeper effect my take place. I have another question. I was thinking of painting it black. Is that a bad idea? Rockwood 03-02-2002, 07:35 PM i would not recommend that, as when you get it pianted it will cover up valuable surface area, and may clog up the area between the fins. you *could* get it swain coated, but that wouldnt be worth it on a BB intercooler. keep it silver, and if anyone asks, just say it is you A/C condensor djisnx2000 03-02-2002, 08:21 PM I'll remember this one! And what do you guys think about front mounting a gitr intercooler on an nx2000? I would like to have the picture of a guy who did it on his nx here on this forum. Rockwood 03-03-2002, 06:41 AM the Pulsar intercooler on on an NX would require a lot of cutting of the bumper, and most likely total removal of the bumper support. i would rather run the BB intercooler for low boost, as the starion is too tall for my tastes and would also require a lot of cutting, if not wholesale removal of the bumper support. djisnx2000 03-03-2002, 07:10 AM What would be a good size for a front mount if I want to run around 12 psi eventually? Rockwood 03-03-2002, 02:51 PM The guy who threw flyhweels at his bumper has a Spearco core, Viewed here (http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12787&perpage=20&pagenumber=2) the intercooler that greg has on that group buy for $450 is the one i am getting, and it should be able to support much more boost than that. also, try the Spearco cores, either 2-208 or 2-203, both are really nice sized cores, and would be perfect for such a setup. the core that QuickZeek has is probably the 2-203 core. | ||
