hey, if any of you have had this kit/have it, please tell me anything about your experience with it. NX9-XT00 is the code for it, it holds 323 lb/ft torque!! yet, doesnt say anything about harsh engagement, sounds really good to me. thnx for any help
I think (without looking at the website) that that's the clutch I have. Extreme PP, with sprung disc. I love it. Some people that have driven my car though say that the PP is a bit hard to press. The setup works very well though. First let me advise that you order it from JGY Customs . Secondly whatever clutch you go with I recommend that you get your clutch arm (the fork that attaches to your cable) reinforced. I snapped mine in half. Then you have to either pull the tranny apart to replace it, or like me pay your mechanic to do it for you. Either one isn't fun.

hmmm...this may sound stupid, but how do you go about 'reinforcing' the clutch arm? a part to buy or what? thnx for any help

yes, if your going to buy that clutch reinforce the clutch lever at the same time that you are changing the clutch. Buy a new one from nissan part # 30676-58y00, than take it in and weld some medal on the break points. You will like the clutch, it does take some time toget used to.

yes this part comes w/ the car. The problem is that it will probably break shortly after you put the clutch on, so i would either reinforce the one that is on the car now or buy another one from nissan for about 40 bucks and reinforce that one. As far has price goes to get it put on, if you are doing it at the same time time that the clutch is going in, it shouldnt cost very much, but doing it by its self I have no idea, my car is still sitting outside waiting.

The NX9-XT00 is an ACT part number. The NX9 is for the Nissan SR20DE motor, XT stands for Xtreme pressure plate, and the 00 is the street disc. Unless your car has some serious power I would not recommend it. Your left leg will hate you. My ACT 6puck with HD pressure plate held 325ft-lbs with no problems and the pedal pressure is not too bad. I personally recommend the NX9-HD00 for bolt-ons or the NX9-HDR6 for turbo/nos.

yes, but dont the 6 puck have some bad driveabliity issues? whats the deal with them? basically, i want to max out the det's t25, or close, i dont know what maxing out is, but id like to squeeze out 270 hp or so out of it. and the clutch i have now, only holds 240, so i need another option
I always hear people say how rough the Extreme PP is but I guess it's just that I'm used to it. I don't think it's that bad.
