Is it the same as the de one? I cannot remember which one I have in there right now as the fans were not coming on and I was swapping them back and forth. Would just like to buy a new one and be done. As it seems to crank a few times before wanting to start and needs some assistance to get an idle. After that runs good just nneds to get to operating temp before it starts acting normal! Any help would be appreciated Thanks Ryan!

The de sensors will work, though you may have another issue with the startup problems (leaky injectors, bad thermostat?). Try unplugging the sensor, the fans should come on at all times, it would verify you dont have a fan problem.
Also remember there are two sensors for temp control, one for the fans and one for the temp gauge... if you have questions just ask.

Cool. I am gonna try that out. I had put both the de and the de-t ones in and none of them worked the fans. One was short and fat the other a little longer and skinny. This one I speak of would be the sensor that is the toughest to get out. I knew there were 2 but have not messed w/ it too much yet. I wired the passenger side fan on a switch so I at least had something until I got this problem under control. Car is currently away for the winter but was a bitch to start to keep battery charged. I am going to try unplugging it and see what happens. Also buy a new sensor since its cheap enough (wasnt sure if those parts were interchangeable since I am running a u12 ecu also) But every little bit of info helps Thanks Man! P

If the fans don't come on when it is unplugged check your fuses and connectors.
