Is there any difference between sr20de cars that were originally sold in California and cars sold in the rest of the US?

supposedly... but i think in like 96 or some thing they put emission things in most cars so that it wasnt too much of a probl. all i know is that they say the car has to have california emmisiions .. i think its just a matter of passing the smog check.

Good Question. As long as I can remember whenever I used to watch The Price is Right all the cars came standard with California Emmissions. I mean even in the 70's.
