Well, here I am again with another possible group buy. I can get Purosil silicone connector hose in 3-foot lengths, only in size 2.5 inches, in a small quantity.

What I am doing here is gauging interest from you all in buying 3-foot lengths of this for your turbo/intercooler connectors.

This hose is the 70-250, retail price of $23.93 per foot, $71.29 for three feet, retail.

IF I could offer up these 3-foot sections of 2.5-inch (only) Purosil at $55.00 shipped to your door, would you be interested? I can get my hands on 20 of these right now, maybe a few more if need be. This would be a one-time affair.

Let me know your thoughts, and if you, personally, would like to get in on this if it goes down. I'll take your thoughts for a couple days, then see if we can make this happen.

I was hoping just one. Do you think I would need more than one? How many do you think you'll need [since I know both of us are going the same route, bb turbo on our stock de's]. Maybe I'll get two just in case.

I may need one. I am also curious on how many I would need. I am going to front mount the BB intercooler!

I plan on cutting it up into 4-inch connectors. So...quick math...you can get 9 connectors per 3-foot length of hose. I would imagine that's enough to do just about any IC piping layout you can imagine.

Quick and easy. I'd like to do it within a week. I have to basically buy 20 sticks of this stuff. I'd like to have 1/2 of those (10) sold before going any further with this. I cannot fathom being stuck with 10+ sticks of 2.5-inch silicone hose.

would 2.5 inch piping be good enough, even if I upgrade my turbo (to a t3/4 maybe) becuase I want to make sure that everything else I buy would be compatible with a larger turbo... thanks

Well no matter what size Intercooler piping you have you have to realise it is going into one hole the trottle body, So 2.5 is perfect for what you need untill you get a larger TB. Also Yes one 3ft stick is good enough as well.

It is blue with the fluorescent red liner, as the pictures in the first post up top show. Sorry, that's the only color.

I just got a stick of it in the mail, and the blue is really a muted blue. It looks just fine, IMHO.

I just emailed my supplier, and asked if we could do this quantity: 7. We were hoping for 10+ quantity to be sold, so I'll just have to see if he still wants to do this or not. He probably will. 100% of 7 is still better than 100% of 0. :)

When he emails me back, I'll post it up here. If it's still a 'go', I'll also post details. Chances are, we'll just have everybody pay me, and I'll pay him and he will ship these directly to you. That's the easiest way I can think of.
