Well, I got my motor (sr20det) and JGY turbo kit, those guys were great. They kept me up to date with whats going on with my motor, and turbo kit. I inspected all the pieces and everything was brand new like promised, all the pieces were shiney, my motor seemed to be in pretty good shape. I didnt take the shrink wrap off as I have to keep my motor in the backyard so I actually wrapped my motor up some more, I will post pics when I am able to or if someone can host I will gladly take the pics out today using my phone to give you an idea. All and all my experience was a pleasure with those guys unlike the threads I've read on here...my suggestion to the people on this board is patience.. it will take you a long way not to mention common sense, sometimes they can't control when a turbo is comming in or injectors, whatever... so you just wait for an update, just like if you was recieving a replacement cell phone.

2 thumbs up to nate, pam, sam, and jason at JGY Customs.

looks like they are really stepping up to the plate lately trying to make a good name for themselves again since all those mishaps. I really like the direction they are taking.

it wasn't about common sense...it was more than just delays, they were sending out parts that didn't work like blown turbo's and such. also they didn't have all the help they needed so the customer service was just horrible. jason also went as far as to write derragatory comments on a customers turbo before he sent it to him. i was ready to spend over $2000 with them but they never gave me the time of day(and jason admitted to it) and i had to go to another vendor. but i am glad to hear they are changing it around lately *** i am ready to give them another chance especially since some of my earlier experiences with them were great.

i visited their shop one time because i was trying to buy an sr20det localy. they seemed ok and the lady up front was nice. i talked to jason a little while and he seemed kinda weird/sketchy. i got a ca18det from them and it was a busted pos. it had a blown motor and turbo. im hopeing they get there Sh*t together so i will have a local place to pick up parts.

this one is good... I swear there must be a secret club or something

So, you want this forum to beleive that you came in, since you are local, met Jason, didn't trust him, then proceeded to buy a motor that you saw, got it, then found it was horrible shape. What's more, proceeded not to let us know? (I am assuming that since I was not informed and Pam is stating she wasn't.)

What's more, when I do a search on CA18 sales, we show no local sales.

so......... what's real?

I ordered a turbo timer/harness from JGY last week and it shipped this Monday, and was delivered yesterday here in Hawaii. Very quick shipping and the people on the phone were very courteous, honest (they are up front about what they have in stock), and helpful. They also fought to keep my shipping costs low, living up to the claim stated on their website, by doing USPS :)
