Well, it was good day to be at Etown....there weren't too many people there and you could get in a bunch of runs.

SR20's representin:

a red 92 classic
grey 92 classic
black 93 classic
white 91 classic :)
white 92 NX2k
tan 98 SE-L
black 200sx
turquoise 200sx
burgundy nx2k

Much better than the last few times i went, when it was just me and Nismonx2000!

I ran my personal best today too:
r/t: .568
60' 2.361
330 6.494
1/8 9.922
MPH 71.29
1000 12.881
1/4 15.399

Wow, why such a big Nissan turnout? Did you guys plan it, I kinda remember seeing something on the forum here. So, anyone run low 14's or better?

Chris

Well not all of those cars ran... I did run mine, but I don't think I did too well... just a 15.75 @ like 87... I didn't really get to hang out with the other guys too much, but I did meet them and that was cool :) next time maybe I'll have more time to hang out. I don't know if anybody got into the 14's, I think Chris' time was the best... that's good though Chris, you ran even faster after I left.

actually, my friend John (nismonx2000) ran a 15.320. After you left, Jose, one of MarC's guys showed up in that red classic. He said he worked for MarC.

None of the SR20's hit 14s. The guy with the SE-L had pretty much all the bolt-ons: intake, exhaust, S3's, HotShot header, pullies....and he said he ran a 14.7 at one point. He decided to advance the timing with the S3's (which I told him he probably should'nt have done) and as a result was running 15.7-15.8 today. I told him about the forum, he said he needed a lot of help tuning his car and stuff...hopefully you guys can help him out!!

Here are some no-sound videos I took with my digital camera.. they aren't that great, but I guess they're something. Also links to the timeslips

Run 1: 15.75 @ 85.67 MPH Video 1 (http://www.latinominds.com/E-town/e-town3-2-2002-1.mpg) Timeslip 1 (http://www.latinominds.com/E-town/3-2-2002-run1.jpg)

Run 2: 15.82 @ 85.31 MPH Video 2 (http://www.latinominds.com/E-town/e-town3-2-2002-2.mpg) Timeslip 2 (http://www.latinominds.com/E-town/3-2-2002-run2.jpg)

Run 3: 15.84 @ 85.09 MPH Video 3 (http://www.latinominds.com/E-town/e-town3-2-2002-3.mpg) Timeslip 3 (http://www.latinominds.com/E-town/3-2-2002-run3.jpg)

All the videos are around 4 mb each, I guess they can be made smaller somehow, but I don't know how to do that.

Edit: I added links for the timeslips

It was definately a great day at the track. It was awesome meeting some new se-r people for the first time from this awesome forum that we congregate on. I did run my personal best thus far of 15.32 in the quarter, that was with a 2.368 60 foot too, which could have been better. It was a lot of fun and i hope we get to do it again soon. I would like to have my pacesetter header on by then.....so i can see the before and after. I was happy with the time that i ran.....but never satisfied..:)

I would have come but I had my moms birthday party saturday. I won't run at E town anyway. Don't want to embarrass myself! :) You guys should come down to atco...hehehe

Got any pictures?

I think Atco is way to far away... it's like a 2.5 hour drive from me... and you won't do bad Chrissy... there were slower cars there on Saterday, I know there were 17 second cars (and maybe even slower).... and I also saw some girls running their cars there too.... but I didn't take any pictures of the other cars... I didn't have enough time

17 seconds...hmm...sounds like my time...guess I shouldn't be afraid to run then. :D

I might be wrong....but I thought Atco was in South Jersey...and Chrissy lives in North Jersey....I could be wrong...

I live exactly 30 minutes east of philly. So its not south and its not central. It's south-central Jersey. We are starting our own state. :p

I bet there were girls running out there but I bet their boyfriends made their cars fast. :( I only ran a 16.2 last year. I have the freakishly slow ser syndrome.

Only "A" 16.2. Chrissy, thats only 1 run. With practice I guarentee you can get at least a 15.5-15.4. Thats respectable with little mods. You are a woman. How much do you weigh if you don't mind me asking? You are most likely lighter than most men. Then if you take out the spare, seats etc you can get some good times. Besides, I know women can have a better reaction time. I have seen it personally as men can get over aggressive when driving.

Well, the only way to get better at drag racing is to practice. So, anyone and everyone from the new jersey area taht is close enough to Englishtown should come next time we set something up. i know in one of my runs, i ran next to an old school beetle. That sucker ran a 19.28 something, so, anyone on this board should never be ashamed of what there running. :)

Hey this saterday is import survival series. We can even race in bracket racing I think. I'd like to do it, but I know I don't have enough practice yet... and I might be chilling the night before.. but I might just do it.. I just hope that I can be out by 3:30

Actually, me and my boy chris (nismoser) got there around 1:30 or so and stayed until 5 when they closed the track. It didnt start to rain until later that night. So, you could have come after all. Oh well, next time then. :) Not to mention, i was the only one sporting my sr20 forum t shirt....cmon guys!!! we need to represent!! :D

No, not A run...I got in about 15 or so last season. But I was still learning how to drive stick. And with a shift knob that stays put I might do better. But now I have that heavy ass stereo (that will take too long to remove) and no I am not that light. :) I won't tell you how much I weigh till you meet me! Marc's best time with the car was only 15.9...freakishly slow ser syndrome I tell ya!

Supersentra man you gotta learn english. Reading that post was the most challenging thing I have done all day.

Chrissy. I can remove my stereo box easily. i'll tell you a secret I have. i used a trailer hitch to make my stereo removable. They sell them in Radioshack. Just splice the wired between the box and the wires leading to the amps and walla. Instand removable stereobox. It is quite easy.

Do you know if they make trailer hitches that can have heavy duty wire? Because my wires are pretty thick for ground and current and I know having too small wires can affect the sound and/or power... maybe I should just go to Autozone myself and check it out...
