Yup easy fix too. If you go ask your nissan repairman he will tell you that you are crazy ***. Eric used to have a write up on how to do it, but its pretty easy. Need to find the blub number *** thats the only thing i dont know off the top of my head.

pull off everything and pop the switches out. turn them over and look there is a little "socket" holder thing that you can turn a 1/4 turn and it will fall out. there is a bulb in it with a "condom" on it. Pull condom off and save...get new bulb from radio shack, it will be a little shorter but it will work just fine. remove old bulb by unwiding the wires on the "socket". pull out. put leads though for new bulb, wrap over "socket" and clip excess off. Put condom on and practice safe driving.... :D Its not that difficult lights are like 2 dollars for 2 i think. getting the wires wrapped and in place just how i liked them was tricky but just cause i have big fat hands

Thanks I guess Nissan used the same design on the Maxima too. I changed those on our 95, the buttons just looked a bit different. :)
