sr20ser 03-02-2002, 11:39 PM I have a 200sx se-r (98) and I was wonderin if an intake from a '97 or earlier would bolt up, without any mods to the ecu, or anything else. I live in PoDunk (canton) Illinois, so polution control is not a high priority with the police or vehicle inspection facilities. atomicbomberman 03-03-2002, 01:19 AM only two types on intake exist for the SR20. the Low Port and the High Port. You have the low Port.. every SR20 after 92 have the Low port.. so yes.. as long as the intake was not made for the 91-92 Classic then they'll fit your car. This issue has been discussed here before. IIRC, someone a while back posted pictures of their '93's engine bay to show they had a low-port. I also remember reading in the same thread that all '93 SE-R's manufactured after a certain date were low-port (the date was towards the end of the MY). Anyone here have a '93 that's a low-port? The Intake manifold on my car has the two emissions tubes going across the top. I have never seen one that didn't. 94 is all low port though. 94+. I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure Hotshot's CAI is a bit different for the 98-99's than the 95-97. | ||
