I was wondering what suspension parts and interchageable from
other nissans into a 93 nx.

91-94 sentra

I have a 200SX Stillen Strut Bar in my NX 2000, its a perfect fit. You could also use the frontsprings and struts from a b14 too i believe. Someone clarify this for me.

Yes you are right. Most anything on the front is the same from 91-99. I have 98 Sentra SE struts on the front of my NX right now as a matter of fact.

are those items interchangable with nx's with abs?

Yes. Well sorta. :) You might just have to zip tie your lines to the strut.

I do not believe that the front springs are inter-changeable because the NX is a bit more nose heavy than the Sentra. The front springs on the NX are longer and have a higher spring rate.

That link does no work for me. As far as what you said about the springs, yeah the spring rates are definetly different but most other suspension parts are the same as the se-r like the control arm, sway bars etc. But if the springs are definetely longer on the Nx then why would the struts be the same, you get my drift though.

Since the nose of the NX is heavier than the SE-r, the springs are probably the same height once the full car's weight is on them. They would then be able to use the same size struts.

About the front strut brace:
Will a strut brace from an SE-R work too, or just the 200SX? (I assume both, but don't want to find out after I buy it).

BTW, these are the juicy tid-bits I thought would make good content for nissannx.info. Since our cars have less after-market support, it would be nice to have a good cross reference of parts that can be shared with the SE-r or 200SX.

I have the number 1 STB from nopi for like 53 dollars Its only listed under the sentra parts. the end links were almost a dead match on the saphire blue too:)
