Well I can scratch the aem idea.. I went to the offical aem website nad apparently they dont make cai's for the b14s. Does anyone know if the 94 b13 intake will fit the b14 with little to no modification?

well, considering every car responds to mods differently it's hard to say. i don't know of any back to back to back dynos of all three CAI's on the exact same car on the same day. personally i think we should support companies like HS and PR, *** they cater to our needs more than AEM. just my $.02.

Hey Rich I have a Place Racing Silver CAI Lowport model that a member here is looking at buying. If he decides not to...I could ship it to you on loan if you had access to a dyno and then you could test it in real life yourself. Then but it from me if this guy falls through.

P.S. order those hoses already!;)

I 100% percent agreed. I am so damn tired of seeing everybody make aftermarket parts for hondas, everything from body kits to engine parts. Every noticed in sports compact that you filp in the pages and you see all this stuff overed for hondas and mis. but not hardly nothing for Nissan. It just seems like few have supported Nissan. Hotshot, Stillen, and Place racing has been there for nissan so I think that we should support them and companies like them. Also cant forget about JWT major help to the nissan world.

As for CAI intakes...its like spliting hairs.....aem, place, and hotshot are 3 kick ass brands and you not going to see a major differ in the results.

I did the same search when I was looking to buy a CAI. The general consensus is that the AEM is the best on a near stock engine but the Hotshot is better for an engine with cams due to the larger diameter. The hotshot is able to produce the highest voltage from the MAF. The 94 B13 AEM intake will work on a B14 but I'm not sure if the support bracket will line up, however the intake should fit fine otherwise. I personaly like the Hotshot and that is what I bought. A good place to buy it at is www.ptuning.com. I got it there for $190 shipped. If you were condidering the AEM for steet legal purposes, Injen also makes a street legal intake and have a B14 specific application. I don't mean to leave out the Place Racing, but to be honest I don't have any experience with it. However, most the people with the Place Racing intake that I have talked to like it alot. To be honest I think you will be happy no matter which way you go. Hope that helps.

ive searched on here when i was considering what cai to buy and apparently aem is the best for a non cammed motor. but otherwise...i saw a groupbuy in the groupbuy section for place racing cai at half price. if thats still goin on go for it man!
