I WAS JUST WONDERING TO HOW MANY OF YOU GUY ON THIS LIST HAVE DONE THE BLUEBIRD SR20DET SWAP AND RUN THE ENGINE WITH THE STOCK BLUEBIRD ECU AND ALSO DID YOU USE THE BLUEBIRD MAF OR CAN YOU RUN THE USDM MAF AND O2 SENSOR USDM OR JDM? PLEASE ADVISE AS I WOULD LIKE TO RUN THIS ENGINE THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO TO BE, GRANTED I KNOW WE DO NOT HAVE 100 OCTANE. AND IF SO WHAT TYPE OF LIMITATIONS ARE THERE IN THE BB ECU I.E. REV LIMIT SPEED LIMIT I WOULD APPRECIATE FOR PEOPLE THAT RESPOND TO THIS POST TO SPEAK FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND NOT HEAR SAY? THANKS AND DO FORGET TO INCLUDE WHAT MAF AND O2 SENSOR YOU ARE USING IF YOUR RUNNING THE BB ECU.

I ran the BB ecu on my car for almost a year. It was originally supposed to be just till i had the money for the JWT ecu and all the parts i wanted to upgrade (MAF, INJECTORS etc.) Here was my impressions of it. I usd the original sr20 maf and O2 sensor I knew the whole time I wasnt supposed too, but it worked. Driveability was never an issue but when the temperatures got real cold i had a idle surge when it was warm idled fine. It started up everyday finea and gas mileage was fine. The most annoying part of it was the speed limiter was happy to get rid of that. The car ran lean the whole time I was clearly able to tell by the plugs. I was lucky not to lose the motor. What im getting at if your going to do it, do it right get the JWT ecu.
