I have beening fighting my car for the last month to get everything done so that it can run properly. I had gotten a project 200sx with a U12 motor in it and tryed getting it up and running at my own leasurely pace but the day before Thanksgiving my daily driver threw a rod and I had to repair it quickly seeing as how it was my only running car as the other 200sx was no where near running yet and my nx1600 needs a intake manifold. I slapped everything in my car over the weekend so I could drive it to school and work the next week. I was sick and it was rain and I had to do all this in the parking lot of the apartment complex that I live in. Needless to say they were not happy about it and even threatened to evict me if I didn't stop what I was doing. Through all this I had problems with my idle that I finally fixed and had to drive around for sometime on my stock ecu while I completed my adapter for the U12 ecu. Thanks to coalitionse-l's awesome write up about it I was able to complete it fairly simply or so what I thought was simple. As it turned out I was not using the correct epoxy and it would never dry correctly and did hold the wires on there. So after trying and failing twice on my third attempt I decide it was time to switch up the plan and try a new approach. Instead of using the suggested epoxy I decided to try the hot glue gun since it was faster setting and I would not have to dam up the bottom of the connector because of the thickness of the glue. It worked perfectly set immediately but with still just enough time to form around the wires and solders. I also pulled the wires still attched to the metal connectors out of the harness so that I could solder those wires directly on to the back of the harness rather than having to worry about where or not the connection I make in the butt connectors was good or not. this also made it much easier to connect the two harnesses together after everything had set, instead of crimping all the connectors I just snapped the wires into their slots. After completing my third connector I finally plugged it in and my car started right up and idled right, a sound I hadn't heard come from my car in far too long. I am so glad that it runs right I just wanted to share with everyone, I'm so proud. - Josh
