What will i need to do to my b13 with a GTI-R swap to keep the car safe at highspeeds for a long period of time? i'm talkin like avg 150mph for like 30 minutes... its completely stock. only thing done is flywheel, clutch, and brakes.

Whatever you do to it its still gonna be unstable, a B13 was not made for 150+mph. Aerodynamics suck and thats what hurts you.

but as for cooling. do u think i'm gonna be ok? or should i upgrade my radiator and oil cooler? and if i lowered it a lot? put a lip on it to hold it down? i know these are odd questions. there is a new track being built where i live.

a circle track? damn. i wouldnt take a b13 to 150mph but thats just my opinion. good luck to you. i'd like to see the mods you do.

Considering your gonna be under boost the whole time id think you would start to overheat on a stock radiator. Depends on the temp outisde. Id upgrade it.

Im not saying u cant go 150mph but in a B13 its scary shit. Not much you can do especially if you wanna do it for long periods of time.

i mean i wont do it if i feel the car cant handle it. i just want to prepare it for it. do u think the existing oil cooler is suffecient? the motor isnt even in the car yet... its just waiting... i was plannin on radiator. anything other ideas on suspsension?

The oil is water cooled on a GTi-R i think, id still get a air:air oil cooler and stick it upfront if you wanna do anmy kind of road racing. Oil tenps on a SR shoot sky high under boost within seconds. Highest ive seen on mine was 250*F, thats almost like water. So yeah any kind of road racing id say get a better oil cooler, by blocking of that water oil cooler u will see lower coolant temps too.

150 is not an issue if you're turbo, been there done that. As for car stability, that's a whole other issue. You definitely need to have the suspension sorted out as any kind of wobble at those speeds could be very bad. Also, aero of our cars sucks, so that needs to be addressed.

And you'll need to stuff the biggest radiator and oil cooler you can find. not to mention, upgrade the water and oil pumps.

And you will not see 150 on the road course unless it has a straight about a mile long or making a LOT of power.

spray to get to 150, and we having a huge course being built. it is supposed to be the largest in the US by a mile.. i was thinking of like a front spliter to help with high speeds. i have a few months til any event can take place, i just want to make some people gasp.

Also do u think its worth it goin AEM over Emanage Ultimate?
