I was thinking either a new exhaust, underdrive pullies, or a rear strut bar (can i still get one for a classic?). My fed refund is 280. If I get an exhaust, i dont want it to be too much over that. Fast91SE-R suggested buying the pacesetter catback, then cutting off the muffler and getting an aftermarket one. Does the pacesetter have mandrel bends and a silencer? If I do do this, what muffler should I get? I want something quiet, non ricey (small tip), and of course want it to perform well. Or I could get the underdrive pullies. BTW, I already have an AEM CAI and a HS Header.

Pacesetter cat back is mandrel bent, comes with a resonator.
With the muffler that it comes with, it is loud and droney and looks like crap (sticks out too far, huge tip). Kind of a waste to get it just to cut off the muffler and then not have any performance gains from it.

I don't really think that's a bad idea... yeah, the PS is a bit loud and ugly in its original form, but if you cut off the muffler and replace it with a 2 1/4" Dynomax Ultraflo welded muffler for $59 from Summit, and have a muffler shop hang that off the back, you will have a decent full mandrel bent cat-back for about $210 parts plus maybe $40 labor. That still would be cheaper than having a shop weld up a system from supplied mandrel bends, since doing it that way is pretty labor-intensive. I just helped Andy92rubyclassic put a PS catback on his car, and we might try something like this since it is a little droney.
