: My speedometer needle is going crazy?? 92nx2000 03-05-2002, 10:55 AM my speedometer needle is going crazy. It doesn't work when i step on the gas but when i let go of the gas the needle works just fine. Any idea? hopefully i don't need a new guage cluster. Is this a common problem with the Sr20de trannys. I own a primera nx2000 AntonioG 03-05-2002, 02:01 PM I'm going to take a stab - Since you have a 92 NX2K, you have a cable driven speedo. On top of your tranny there is a cable coming out of it with a knurled ring. Make sure you can push the cable in as far as it can go, and tighten up that ring.
