Decided against the coupe for two odd reasons.... Sedan lighter and more room. The coupe is only 4in shorter.

Nope. Coupes are rated a bit higher due to "tuned exhaust system" availible on the MT cars as standard equipment.

WEll here shortly I should have close to the same HP rating as the 04 coupe. Z-tube and JWT popcharger on order. I will also inquire a coupe mid pipe. That should put me close to the HP rating of the coupe for less than $250. I might even add the plenum spacer later down the road for a few more ponies, along with Y-pipe and highflow cats. Right now I would also like to get the suspension taken care. Seems alot of g owners are going with 350z springs on the sport tuned suspension model I have. Same spring rate, but gives the car a 1" drop around. Coupe springs work as well, but the drop is only .5". Either way, the springs for either car can be had for less than $100. AFter those mods are complete, I'm really diggin the 350z track wheels and will be in the market for those. Then give me a year or two, this bad boy will have some FI coming.:eek:

The sedan is still lighter, no matter what year you get.

my buddies dad wants to by him the coupe when he graduates college this year. He wants the evo mr or sti. I've actually been pushing the g35 too. i love the evo and sti but the g35 is more of a "grown up" car and definetly a panty dropper...
