i don't know exactly what these do? i know that there a inch smaller then the stock ones and i guess that reduces how bumpy the ride is somehow? could someone explain really quick what exactly they do thanx...

More room for suspension to move before the strut compresses to the point where it "bottoms" out on the top strut mount. Also the ME mounts reduce strut mounting slop compared to the OEM rubber mounts. So the top strut mount will bot move around as much during cornering.
