I plan on installing the crank and water pump pulley tomorrow, weather pending. I know I will need a pulley puller and a heat gun to heat up the water pump pulley to expand it enough to install. I was doing some searching and was wondering if there is anything else to look out for, or tricks to the install.
Thanks,
Mike

To loosen each belt, you need to turn 3 screws each. Find the pivot point, and loosen that bolt, then the one perpindicular to the tensioner (It's a lock for the tensioner bolt), then finally the actual tensioner bolt. If you have a B14 with ABS, be aware that the rear tensioner is a pain in the butt to get to. In fact, I think I still should be swearing at mine.
Also, The bolt for the crank pulley may be a serious pain. Get someone to jump on the brakes, and use the longest lever you can. The motor mounts will flex like mad, and it will feel like you are pushing against a rubber wall. I have the ES inserts, so it was easier on my car, but on Vtec's B13, man, it was tough.
Good luck though, it's worth it!

QUESTION!
To loosen the crank pulley bolt on a A/T Sentra, will putting it in gear and holding brake pedal work?
I've read that for A/T you have to take off starter and prop the flywheel to keep it from moving.

for the WaterPump Pulley, unbolt the O.E pulley w/ the belts tight then loosen the belt tensioners, then slide the o.e pully out, install in reverse, have a Dremel handy as when heating the WP pulley fails, you can just grind a small amount off to fit. try to borrow a Compressor for the removing the Crank Bolt, it will save you a lot of pain.
