Jimmy, thanks! I checked the TPS today and at normal, it reads .613 V and at WOT it reads 4.38 V. According to my haynes, that is within spec. I did try to take the voltage from the MAF after that and I didnt think I did it right because I didnt have the sheet in front of me and I got a readng of 40.2!!! WTF! I will recheck the MAF ground tomorrow the correct way or at least going by the instructinos on se-r.net. Ugh, this is ridiculous. No vacuum leaks at all either. Thanks!

check the ground wire for the harness that is connect to the TPS and the MAF..... it should lead to around the intake manifold and it will have quite a few wires going to it.

Ok gang, correctly tested the MAF today and got 13.6mV. Reground the MAF and read 2.2mV. Problem is still there...WTF!!

Its like up until a little past mid throttle I get half-ass gas pressure then BAM, Im all squirly with spinning tires and full power. TPS tested at .613 and 4.38 at WOT. MAF, again is at 2.2mV, and I can hear the fuel pump turning on. One thing that Ben Davis and I were pondering is that I am STILL running the JWT ECU programmed for the 9.5:1 compression US DE, with turbo, on the new 8.5:1 DET block. With timing at 15, could this be the culprit?

I also pulled my 1 week old plugs and regapped them from .030 to .025. I am running stock boost and stock fuel pump. I am pretty sure it is fuel delivery related, since I have always had a slight backfire when switching gears since the FULL DET install.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, in the meantime, I will be setting the timing back to 8 and advancing it a few clicks to see if retarding helps since the ECU is not programmed for the 8.5:1 compression.

Thanks gang! :D

The ecu can possibly be a factor here. but from my experience with my DET, the problem sounds like TPS related. I believe the TPS should be between .44-.55v and this is according to the guide on www.se-r.net . the first time we ran my det at JGY, we had that no throttle and then jerking off thing and it went away after the TPS got adjusted.
Hope this helps,
Nick

Thanks Nick, yeah Jason said you guys had the same thing with yours. Weird thing was is that it didnt do it until like 2 weeks ago. I will adjust it tonight maybe tomorrow, it really depends on this frigin starter now. Its 3 starters in 2 months....UGH. :(

I had S4 cams and T25 and I had the same problem...it was the fact that I didn't have the TPS hooked up....it would stutter for a while then kick in....I went around like that for a week I thought it was the cams....Then replacing the 02 Sensor made a major difference also....
