ok, i want to change my cat. going the hotshot header rute, and then the courtesy midpipe.

Q#1 - what is the diameter of the stock cat?
Q#2 - where did you all get your cats from, and what did you pay?
Q#3 - what is the outlet diameter on the hotshot header?
Q#4 - for those of you that have replaced the cat, was it worth it?

i want to have the inlet diameter of the cat matching the hotshot header, and the outlet matching the 2 1/4 courtesy midpipe (it is 2 1/4 right?

CATCO cat from www.discountconverter.com for $60 shipped. came with warranty papers.. doesn't have flanges for DIY install though.. 2" in/out (I have 1.6)

i actually just found them @summit for about $50 - shipped :-)
and thats for a 3 inch inlet and outlet. i would rather go bigger. that way, when/if i go turbo, i already have a cat :-)

does your catco cat have that breather tube on it?

yeah, but it has a plug in it.. nissans don't use that

there are 2 part #'s. i think that the CTO-6907 is the one without the tube. and, its CHEAPER!!!!! its laround $40 or somthing from summit. the only thing is that the website says they are out of stock..
