I changed my BKR7E's out today in favor of some Zex plugs. I found one of the plugs to have the gap completely closed! I sure as hell didnt do that. How could this happen? No wonder I was getting only about 200 miles per tank.

am not saying u did this but alot of people like to drop spark plugs in the hole
and not using the tool to install them in the hole

I always use a 5/16 fuel line to get them started and take them out. I am not sure that dropping the plug only a few inches would be able to bend the tab that much, if at all. Good theory though.

droping them that much def would bend em shut. but if u used a fuel line to place em in u should be fine in that aspect.

Could have run lean on that cylinder and were on the verge of melting that electrode off.

I really would hope I did not run lean. I have a JWT ECU that and Nismo FPR. The pump is stock, Im at 7psi. The fuel pressure rises like it should and never has fallen down.
