Would using a thicker oil lessen the amount of blowby I have? I detonated my motor pretty bad and it is probably the ceramic particles that scratched up my cylinder walls, causing blowb when I let off. If so, what weight oil would you recommend?

it will help, but thats like putting a band-aide on a severed arm.

Oh, I know it's a band aid solution because I just need it to last until this summer so I can swap the motor. I don't plan on running like this permanently. What weight oil do you recommend?

to help, use the thickest motor oil you can get.

I'm afraid of spinning bearings with thicker oil.
