First off I'm trying to do the install without the JWT ECU , I like JWT but I feel their ECU is overpriced and right now the waiting process seems to be taking forever so I know I'm heading in the wrong direction but bare with me, I want to try and make a system without JWT.

Set-Up:

92 Sentra Se-r
SR20DE
T25 from a BB DET

My thoughts:
get a DET ECU and/or 370cc injectors
maybe a FPR

just help me guys

but don't hate me for being stupid

Here are my questions:

Can I use the BB DET with the 370cc injectors on the DE-T25?

Also I know that if I retard the timing a bit to calibrate for the compression of the DET will it work?

Ben Davis on the mailing list told me that it will idle shitty but will be able to run correctly as long as I get the timing right, what do you think?

Without the ECU if I get the 370cc injectors I will run rich, but will I run rich at all times or just at idle or what?

What if I get the ECU, 370cc injectors, and a FPR to minimize the richness?

Thanks

If you need the DET ECU I have one for sale for $150 and also got 370cc injectors with rail and regulator $200 for those.

Where do you live?

I'll go ahead and buy the ECU from you, how do you want to do this

the ECU is the stock BB DET right, just checkin

About the injectors, well... I already have two fuel rails and I don't really need another one, but I might buy them depending on what condition they are and also depending on the price that my friend from school will give me on friday, he works at nissan and he gets a discount so I have to wait for his price, if your a better then I'll buy them,

again how far from norwalk(LA), california are you,

Seriously, why the hell do you think the JWT ECU is expensive? It's plug and play and you never have to worry about it. You are going turbo damnit. DO you realize how easy it is to blow up your motor? Why not just do it right the first time? If you can save up for the turbo stuff, you can save up for the JWT ECU. Don't be a dumbass.

Terrin is right, spent a little extra now, or a lot later! Besides, your car will run LIKE ASS with a ghetto setup like that. Give blood, work *** corna, steal, do whatever it takes and get a JWT ECU and make life easy, and best of all, make MORE POWER!
