I've got a BB DET coming tommorrow and I was wondering what size (4) bolts I should buy in order to put this engine on a stand. TIA

Good luck finding the correct bolt size/pitch/length. I just bought 4 big long bolts and used put them thru the holes that arn't threaded and used nuts to keep it there.

I've always used the bolts from the bellhousing but I do not have that luxury, I just wanted to know if anyone had a thread gauge and one extra bolt.

IIRC, it is 12mm X 1.75. Buy one and see if it works. It will need to be about 4 inches long. Measure the studs on your stand and add about 1.5 to 2 inches.
