I have access to a junk b13 non ser and it has cruise. I want to take off the cruise stuff and install it on my car. Will this work (non ser to an ser)? If it will, exactly what parts do I need to get and where are they located? Is this going to be difficult? TIA

Contact Fast91ser (Serban) He installed cruise control in his Classic. From what he tells me it is a PITA! So goodluck. He basically has to create a wiring harness for it. Drop him a PM he will hook you up with some cool info!!

It's not "hard" like a clutch job, just time consuming. What can make it sort of hard is if one car has an airbag and the other doesn't. If they are the same type in airbag respects, then it is pretty easy. Just look at the system in the FSM and you can see all the parts you need. Let me know if you have any specific question. I swapped cruise from a non-airbag car to my airbag NX. Fun :D

This is slightly off but... Ive got a 99 SE-L and it has curse control on the right side of the wheel. Now there is a hole on the other side of the wheel that looks like it could fit another curse control unit. So the question is, if i go out and find another curse control unit can i place it in the slot of the left side of the wheel, it would be upside down of course, but i would use it to control my car computer :)
