Alright fellas, we're making significant progress!

I am in receipt of a quote from Rick Christ for the springs!!!!!! I am in daily contact with him, and need to get a few things answered (shipping costs, discount rates, packaging, etc.), but the important part is, I have a dollar figure, and lead time.

I'm tempted to post these details right now, but I think it's best to hold off until we get all the details squared away. Once that's done, I'll spread the message across all the SR20DE related boards that I know of, and hope you will all do the same, especially for your friends who are not on line. Remember, this is a one time deal, so don't miss out. And, the more sets that are sold, the less they will cost!

replying here too to say i'm willing to do this, and will pay the price to get the springs.

I'm game, someone should set up a website so we can pay and confirm or something.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is where I see it standing:

First, at every person who's "in" has to commit, lock, stock, and barrel. Chris has to collect the money and legally commit to eating the cost on anyone who punks out (note John's t-shirt deal).

Rick tells Hyperco to build X springs, for which Hyperco already has the dimensions. Takes his cut.

Chris gets a mass of springs in a container or two, and has to find enough boxes to personally pack and individually ship every order to the correct address.

Some time later this Spring, we install our Hypercos, and Chris is our (insert noun for good person).

Chris, if you are concerned about signing a liability waiver, here is what I think you should do: go ahead and sign it, but require that before you ship the springs to any person that they sign and return your own waiver, that way neither Hyperco nor yourself can be held liable.
