does anyone know if a 91 ser ac compressor will fit and work in a 96 ser. thanks pete

Don't think it will. Problem being in 91 the compressor was a R-12, and starting in 94 they switched to R-134a. I ordered a compressor for a 94 got the R-12 and where the lines hook up is completely different.

I highly doubt it. The compressors off a '91 SER and '93 NX are very different too, and they are both R-12. Test before you buy!

Call courtesy Nissan in texas (www.courtesyparts.com), they have a kit. It's around $200 if I recall correctly. I'm not sure if you'll need a new compressor on top of that as well. They'll know.
