: Wheel offset sizes?

I plan on purchasing 16x7 wheels, but I am not sure what offset I should get. Is there a formula or something to determine the right size? I know the stock wheels are 15"x 6" wheel with 40mm offset, 59mm center bore . So would 16x7 w/ 40mm offset be ok? Any suggestions?

I've read that 35-40mm should work.

7 inch rims in a 35-40 offset should be fine. What kind of wheels are you looking at.

Have you checked the weight of those wheels? Some Enkie's are reasonably light some are heavy. You can get some light Rota's in 16 to fit your needs for 450 a set. Lenso's are light. Enkie RPO 1's are light. Kosie K1, BBS RK's. I bought some 15 inch Rota Circuit 8's. 12.5 pounds in 15's only 400 a set. Tire rack has some SSR Integral on sale for $209 in 16inch. I would shoot for a wheel weight of 15-16 pounds or less in that size.

I want something that has a stock look, but is also nice. I'm not too concerned about weight because I wont be racing it, but driving fast is another thing.

Stupid question:

Is the wheel offset the same as for Classics? I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to the B15--my collected SE-R knowledge is so far limited to my 91.
