May I ask why? What are your other plans for the motor? IIRC, there is not much gain (if any) with a bigger throttle body if you stay NA. I don't know about the intake manifold. Are you going turbo?
SERprise 01-30-2006, 12:33 PM im basicly doing every bolt on possible and then going turbo. im going with hot shot headers, hks catback exhaust, hks cam gears, s3cams, cai, ur pulleys, ur flywheel, stage 1 clutch, active-r wires, nismo grounding kit, coilovers and all the basic suspension stuff prothane inserts ect. what ya think? am i missing anything besides turbo and turbo accesories.

my goal is to run low 13's NA...we shall see.

This is an expensive way to go. Depending on what you want to get out of this and how much money you have, it might make more sense to only do the bolt ons that will be useful for the turbo set up you identify as your ultimate goal.
Otherwise, you will be buying stuff you just need to take off when you go turbo. For example, the HS header and HKS exhaust would cost about $900 new -- but you will not need the header and you will want a bigger exhaust than the HKS for a turbo. So you will probably take a loss.
The cams and JWT ECU are a good investment -- can be used to good effect when you go turbo (with a re-flash @ $99 for the ECU).
The flywheel is good for both applications, but the UR pulleys are not really worth the money in terms of WHP/$ as far as I'm concerned -- turbo or NA. NA you will get more WHP by advancing the base timing to 19 degrees and running high test than you will get from pulleys.
Stay away from aftermarket wires -- they tend to cause more trouble than power.
SERprise 01-31-2006, 08:57 PM the only reason im gettin hks exhaust is because im in guam and i havent been able to find any 3 or 3.5 in exhausts. this place is very limited on what you can get shipped here as well. whats wrong with gettin hs headers how will they be a waste of money?
91 Talon 01-31-2006, 09:24 PM if you want a bigger t/b, get one from a Q45. also, get a Q45 MAF, I just happen to have one for sale. :D
SERprise 01-31-2006, 11:03 PM how much do you want for the MAF? pm me with the info

I'm just saying that when you go turbo you will no longer be using this header - you will use an exhaust manifold designed for the turbo that you select.
It must be frustrating to get parts to Guam. Good luck finding what you need.
SERprise 02-01-2006, 04:25 PM ya its a pain in the ass. but if and when i go turbo there is always this forum and ebay to sell my headers.
