: John Deere Steel Toe "boots"

Pair of like new John Deere Steel Toe Work Boots. They are called boots but they are pretty casual. They really could be worn with anything.

They were worn one day but replaced with other john deere's that had a hard plastic flap, which covers and protects the laces and top of foot, which was required at the John Deere Plant.

These shoes are chemical, acid, and oil resistant. Positive traction, and self cleaning. And as always, made in U.S.A.

My dad gave me these to see if I could find anyone who wanted them, but he has such damn small feet. Size 8.5, asking $50 shipped. New price is $100+

They tested that myth on mythbusters, that steel toe boots if smashed would actually cut off your toes....the conclusion, you are much safer with steel toe boots. At least according to mythbusters
