ok it was really bad out the other night and i turned a corner real slow and slid into a curb all i noticed is that my cd player skipped and i thought my rim was scratched up. well i started my car later that night to get some food and it sounded like the speaker was blown but i put all the sound to that speaker and it was fine i muted my stero and the sound was still there. if went away after awhile then i started smelling this weird smell from the vents in my car i have no idea what it smelled like then in the drive thru at mcyd's this rattling sound started and so i pulled in a parking spot and it stopped and the smell came back also. i think my alignment is off now to i don't think it was ever right but its pretty bad now.
i was wondering could this have done anythign to my powersteering *** i was thinkign that was the smell???? :confused: my steering also seems different but i can't tell what it is??? i hit a curb going like 20-25mph in my old eclipse and it bent the lower control arm..i can tell its not bent on this but if it is then its very minor if anyoen can help me if you be great help thanx

did you hop the curb and hit the underside? Because the smell could be coming from your cat. The vents in your car work on a very independent system. So a smell can really only be smelled when stopped or behind a sinky vehicle. Power steering would be noticeable. There would either be a leak or very poor steering. If I were you I would check the underside of your car.

i didn't hop it i just kinda ran into it like i though i was going to make it but yeah i didn't front wheel slid right into it lol
