From what i hear these injectors are side feed and you can use them with your stock fuel rail. For $400 the S15 injectors from heavy throttle (swswap.com) am I better off getting the MSD 550 injectors and a custom fuel rail. I like the fact the injectors are nissan oem parts but how many horse are 480cc injectors good for. I want to put a T3T04E turbo but i want the bigger than 370 injectors would this be a very good deal or is the swap of S15 injectors a little more than a direct bolt on.

From what I have allways read and heard the S15 are 444 cc.

i know but from what they have on their site they say 480cc they tend to deal with 240 sr20 swaps i just don't i want to try to find the right size for those injectors. I know blitz has 550cc side feed injectors as well.

If I were you (I'm building my turbo setup right now), I would just spend the extra money for the fuel rail.. I've heard www.FTFmotorsports.com has a good one for cheap.
Besides, You know if you want to turn up the boost later, you'll have to buy the setup anyways, so spend some extra money now, save the money later and have fun with the BOOOOST...

I thought about that route, and have that on my list of things to get. But how many hp's are 550 injectors good for, if the s15 injectors are really 480cc then how many hp could these good for. Sometimes things that look stock just work for me and if I could find some injectors that would be sufficient enuff to handle my power goals and fit my fuel rail thats even better. I would spend the money on the fuel rail and 550 injectors from ftf, my power goals are pretty simple 280 to the wheels via T3/T4 for everyday driving but 300-320 for the track thats it, so if 444 or 480cc's can handle that then that is definetely an option:D .

They would work! If you are not looking to make anything past 285-300 whp thne you should be fine! These injectors woudl work well for someone with a T28 setup and possibly a 300ZXTT MAF. I know JWT can reprogram the ECU for the 480cc S15 injectors.

Sorry on the incorrect info on the s15 injectors...
Just make sure that 280-300 is all you want. The 480's will be enough for that. I have set too many goals in the past that I cost me money because I decided to go further. The miata was only suppose to do 200whp when I started... Now I am going for over 400. Weigh in the cost of buying the 480's now, selling them down the line and buying somethign bigger.. I am going to my 5th set of injectors now. Started with stock 200, went to 240, then 440 with ecu, then 550 with 1.8 now 720 with 2.0... All in fun..
I hope I never pass 720!!! I cant afford any more of that.

Those whp figures sound a little low, i mean wasn't the 370 w/ 4bar program good for about 270whp. I've heard that gtir injectors were good for about 320 or so hp. I don't want to kill my car and i want it to be a daily driver so 285-300 is good for the streets but when i go to the track i want 320 or so.

The MSD 50 lb/hr injectors are only good for 325-350 whp @ 3 bar. They are good for ~425 whp @ 4 bar!

So how many whp are 480's good for.And another question would i have to upgrade the fuel pressure regulator for either 480cc or 50 lb/hr injectors or is the stock one good enuff.
