blackb13 is going to do a DET swap at my place, most likely next weekend. Anyone who wants to come and make it a geekout, you are invited to come and help/watch/hangout/make parts runs. We are concentrating on his car- I don't want to do any other car work besides related to his swap. Same rules apply. You can stay if you BYOB (bring your own bed, as in blankets/pillows/sleeping bags :D). If this date changes I will post here.

This date is definite. blackb13 has the motor, has the rest of the stuff he needs coming- he really has his act together on this one. I know Moses is going to be there. stensland and racerlinn- can I expect your attendance? Anyone else?

I'm sorry I can't be there for this one, but two weekends in a row is a little much, even if I didn't have prior obligations the 23rd. HPO promises me my suspension stuff next week and FedEx tried to deliver from Courtesy today, so we should be good to go for the 30th.

Ben I have things to do on Saturday evening, but I can come over early Sunday. I'm not sure what time you are planning on working on BlackB13's car. I think I will be free on the whole Sat. except the evening. Then I think I can start heading out to your place around 4am until sunday evening.

I have to talked to him still about the arrangement of going to your house.

Sorry guys, but I have still not acquired all of the parts I need to complete the swap. Such as: ecu, clutch, downpipe (coming), main bearings, intake piece (coming), and fuel pump (coming). I am not going to half-ass this car just to get done sooner. My goal was to get it running and done completely by june 1st. If it gets done sooner then yippee, but I'm not rushing this. Hopefully I can get an ecu and get up there in a week or two. I'll keep everyone informed.

Man, you got the right mindframe! I wish I was there when I did the turbo kit/head swap at Bens! Just ask him how fun that was!!!!!! :D
