Hey, it looks like there is an autox at Pennington Field this Sunday. Anybody going? I am going to try to actually wake up and make it this time unlike last time when I overslept for the Mineral Wells event. :)

Also, anybody headed out to Boostfactor this weekend? I am going to try to get over there on Saturday.

well i think that im ripping the tranny out on friday, and ferrin(sp) is puttin in the gearset on saturday, so chances are the car will still be immoble on sunday morning.... my friend kevin will be there with the R-compound focus tearin things up though...

Hey you got a link for that with directions and such? I'm moving Sat. but might be done enough to go Sun. Still wanna check out that XE with the SE20 under the bonnet. :eek:

How much did that conversion set you back, by the way? I'm keeping an eye out for a B13 4-door and I may go that way when the 1.6 wears out.

For anyone going out to the autocross at Pennington this Sunday, me and James are meeting up at Boostfactor at 7am. Then we will caravan out there. Come out if you want, we'd be happy to have more people. :D

Oh, and zbillster, the conversion set me back quite a bit, but I imagine it could be done for much cheaper. I'll tell you the exact amount when I see you sometime.

With my move this weekend, I probably won't make it after all. But hopefully the next one. I'll definitely hit George Roffe's Texas Rally in April.

Tell James I'll drop my CRX off for clutch and suspension work real soon after I'm done moving.

tommy; looks like i will be there after all....... i decided to go ahead and get another tranny instead of doing the gearset swap thing. dont think i'll be part of the caravan though, the procrastinator/youth that I am, I am almost always speeding madly to make the 9am cutoff for registration:rolleyes: :D but it will be cool to see some more SR20's out there for once, we can all join in being humiliated by a focus:( maybe we can 2 driver our cars and get the feel for a stock vs. modified SE-R(james? ;) ) anyways, I'll see you guys out there, Pennington is usually a LOT of fun.

Okay, well it looks like I may not make it after all. My starter seems to have died. My car won't start, and I got the battery checked, and it came out fine. My starter has been screaching every since I got the car, but recently it has been taking forever to turn over on startup. Today, when I tried starting it, it ground to a halt. Now, I barely get a click when I try to start it. :(

Oh well. Things happen , I guess. I hope y'all have a good time.

I went to Pennington Field last sunday and I'm sad to say that there were only 2 Nissan competing. A 300ZX TT and a 280ZX. Not a SR20 in sight. I got there around 3pm, I realize that kind of late but I expected to see at least a SE-R or 2. Oh well maybe next time I will be able to come out and run, just gotta get that rear suspension redone.
