Just curious where you guys mounted your nitrous solenoids. I did some looking around in the engine bay last night. Didn't find any great spots, but i think i see a couple that might work. anyone have any recommendations?

Here's where I mounted mine (this is a '93, btw):

I just used the bolt holding the driver-side strut bar mount in place to mount up everything. By mounting there, it's easy to run power wires through the firewall, and the nitrous/fuel lines are on that side, too.

It also gives the purge line a quick exit outside the windshield.

That way, it looks way cool when you purge on the starting line. :)

Hope this helps.

You'll need to bend the mounting plate that the solenoids are on a bit downward, so the hood doesn't smash them. It's about a 30-degree bend, IIRC. The angle of that pic is from the fender side, btw. You can see the power brake booster right behind it, just for orientation. The purge solenoid (the one laying horizontally) exits up through the ducting in front of the windshield.

One other benefit of that location: You can hide the mishmash of wiring to your solenoids (and the relays, etc.) under the MAF, out of sight.

Good luck.

I did that, I will try to scrounge up an old pick of where they were. in the dark you could never tell they were there, in the light, you would have to look for them. I had everything in black tape or wire loom :)
